Fading Seasons

Somethings washed up in the bay
a light beaming through the grey
I’ve seen what lies beyond the grave
the chills remind me of how close I came to meeting my end,

In the night they will find me all alone
to tell the void they’ve been through
some pain still remains maybe I just
forget about something
or somehow that it used to be and meant to be,

I watched it as it all slipped away,
I watched it as it all began to fade,
like dust between these fists
losing fate as it going against the wind
I tested everything just to see what fate would bring a thing to me,

Just take away breath in me,
I’ll find another way for these lungs to breath
Just take away my eyes that guide me,
I’ll find another way for my soul to see,

“even empty glasses have folks”.
